What is microcement?
Microcement is a mineral-based finish applied by hand or spray in thin layers over existing floors, walls, showers, countertops, and fireplaces. It's smooth and joint-free, custom-tinted to your color, then sealed for daily use — a refined alternative to tile or stone without a tear-out.
Can you resurface concrete instead of replacing it?
Yes. When the slab is sound, we resurface it — Rinnova over dated stamped concrete, and Sabbia or Strada over exterior slabs like pool decks, patios, and driveways. When concrete is past saving, we pour new decorative concrete. We assess the substrate first and tell you straight which path fits.
Is your exterior resurfacing slip-resistant and safe around pools?
Yes. Sabbia, our Architectural Quartz finish, is finished smooth and comfortable underfoot while staying slip-resistant where water and bare feet meet. It's built for pool decks, patios, and porches, and it's traffic-rated enough to resurface a driveway.
What areas do you serve?
Greater Nashville and the surrounding Middle Tennessee communities — Brentwood, Belle Meade, Forest Hills, Franklin, Green Hills, Hendersonville, Nolensville, Spring Hill, and Arrington — plus homes within about 60 miles of Nashville.
Who actually does the work?
Lafayette Mecham has led every install since 2017. He walks the space, leads the design, and selects the specialty crew of finishers he has worked alongside for years. The person you first meet is the person responsible for every aspect of your project.
How do quotes and warranties work?
Every project starts with an in-home consultation, followed by a detailed written proposal within 5–7 business days. Scope is fixed in writing, any changes are handled with written change orders, and every project is backed by a clear, written warranty.
