Sprayed Microcement Flooring
A spray-applied floor system for a smooth, even finish across larger open areas — a clean route to a continuous concrete floor where a broad, uniform surface is what the room wants. Ideal for open-plan living spaces, kitchens, and whole floors where consistency from wall to wall matters more than hand-worked texture.

How We Install It
Microcement is only as good as the preparation and the hands applying it. Our process is deliberate, and every step is one Lafayette performs or leads personally.
- Consultation and substrate test. We walk the space, check that the existing surface is sound, and test how it will take the finish. If the substrate needs attention first, we tell you plainly before any work is scheduled.
- Protection and prep. We mask and protect the home, then prepare the surface and apply a bonding primer so the finish grips permanently to what's underneath.
- Base coats. The first hand-applied layers build the body of the surface and true up the plane, worked in tight to edges, corners, and details.
- Finish coats. The final trowel or spray passes set the color, movement, and texture — the layer you'll see and touch every day.
- Sealing. We seal the surface for its specific use: water-tight in showers, stain-resistant on countertops, traffic-ready on floors. The sealer is matched to the room, not applied one-size-fits-all.
- Cure and care handoff. The finish cures, we do a final walk-through with you, and you receive written care guidance and a clear, written warranty.
Color, Texture, and Sheen
Two microcement floors are never quite alike, and that's the appeal. Color is custom-tinted on site, so you're not choosing from a handful of stock tiles — you're matching a cabinet, a stone slab, or a designer's palette exactly. The range runs from pale, chalky neutrals to deep charcoals and warm earth tones.
Texture is a choice too. A hand-troweled Velluto surface can be worked smooth and refined or given more visible movement and cloud, depending on the look you want. Sheen is set at the sealing stage, from a soft matte that reads like honed plaster to a low satin with gentle light. We talk all of it through with you, because the difference between a matte and a satin sealer changes the whole feel of a room.
